Shotokan Karate International Australia (SKIA) has announced today the formation of a new partnership with sports management provider revolutioniseSPORT.

The revolutioniseSPORT platform will provide SKIA with modernisation of its IT processes, including membership management, online registrations and payments, new website, e-commerce and communications, as well as better integration with its Karate clubs across Australia.

SKIA Information Officer Ryan van Leent is looking forward to initiating the project: "Through this initiative, SKIA will replace its disconnected custom-built IT systems with a highly integrated cloud-based platform. The platform will reduce the load on our volunteers by enabling self-service for our members and instructors, and automating our administrative processes so we can spend less time on paperwork and more time doing what we're passionate about - practicing Karate!"

"We selected revolutioniseSPORT through a competitive tendering process on the basis of solution capability, cultural fit and value for money. Alex and his team have had the foresight to pre-build a cloud-based platform specifically for sporting organisations like our own, which effectively reduces project risk and time to value for us."

"Being sports-focussed, the revolutioniseSPORT team appreciate that having a great website is important for attracting new members but the complexity is in the backend memberships administration, so end-to-end process integration and automation is key. The partnership with revolutioniseSPORT is very strategic for SKIA and will enable us to transform our business operations, the way we engage with members and our ability to promote Shotokan Karate in Australia."

revolutioniseSPORT Managing Director Alex Mednis is pleased about the partnership: "This will really enhance the way SKIA conducts its business, and we are excited to help the instructors and volunteers of SKIA save thousands of hours in administrative work going forward."

"We love to help sports grow and it is great to be partnering SKIA in providing them with a sustainable solution for their sport."
