Table Tennis Victoria is delighted to announce new partnerships with revolutioniseSPORT and Ballers Clubhouse to present the 2022 Table Tennis Victoria Annual Awards.

To be known as the 2022 revolutioniseSPORT Table Tennis Victoria Awards, an afternoon celebration event will take place on Saturday 1 April at Ballers Clubhouse in Melbourne following the Table Tennis Victoria Annual General Meeting.

The 2022 revolutioniseSPORT Table Tennis Victoria Awards Soiree will recognise the achievements of 2022 including celebrating fantastic state, national and international results as well as contributions of affiliates and volunteers across Victoria.

We call on the table tennis community to nominate members who deserve to be recognised for their results and the tremendous work they achieved to develop and grow the sport of table tennis in Victoria. In 2022 not only will winners be awarded but we will also name finalists to extend the prestige of the recognition.

The 2022 revolutioniseSPORT Table Tennis Victoria Awards to be presented are listed below.

Determined by State Selection Panel:

  • French Award – Senior Male & Female athlete of the Year
  • Coburg Award – Junior Male & Female athlete of the Year
  • Sokolowski Award – Veteran Male & Female athlete/administrator of the Year
  • Rosario Award – Para Male & Female athlete of the Year

Determined by Table Tennis Victoria via nominations:

  • President’s Award – Distinguished Service
  • Javor Award – Coach of the Year
  • Guggenheim Award – Volunteer/Administrator of the Year
  • Singer Award - Official of the Year
  • St Kilda Cricket Table Tennis Club Award - Affiliate of the Year
  • 15, 25 & 50 Years’ Service Awards

Award winners, finalists and members of the Table Tennis Victoria community will be invited to the 2022 revolutioniseSPORT Table Tennis Victoria Awards Soiree at Ballers Clubhouse on Saturday 1 April from 3pm - 5pm to enjoy the awards presentation, food and drinks and some networking.

Table Tennis Victoria CEO Gen Dohrmann is very excited to bring the community together to recognise all of the great contributions to table tennis throughout the year.

“In my first year as CEO of Table Tennis Victoria I have met so many wonderful people who give so much to the sport of table tennis. I look forward to being able to recognise these contributions and the wonderful efforts of our table tennis players as well,” said Dohrmann.

“I am extremely thankful to both revolutioniseSPORT and Ballers Clubhouse for making this event possible as something that we can provide to our community as a celebration of getting back on our feet after a couple of tough years due to COVID.”

Nominations for 2022 revolutioniseSPORT Table Tennis Victoria Awards are now open for community members and will remain open until Friday 25 November.
