Training on Thursdays starting on 18 Feb until 15 Apr 2021
Boys come straight after school (approx 15h45) and sail until 18h00. After de-rigging and packing away all the sailing and coach boats, boys head home / back to school.
Parents co-ordinate the transport. Lift planning has been made easier via a Google spreadsheet, click here to see the list. 

Boys are welcome to come and try out first before committing. Please sign up here so we have all the details & waivers, you can always let us know that your son wont be continuing after the first free day, and we'll delete the registration.

The course includes use of the club boats - we have Picos (ideal learn to sail boats), 420s, Dabchicks and Optimists. Depending on their size and ability, they are matched to the right boat with a competent sailor or on their own. Coaches guide the boys from coach boats. The focus while learning to sail (on & off the water), to have fun doing it.

Course Fee:  R1500 per term - includes use of all club sailing & coach boats and all coaching
Membership (if not a club member already): R612 per term (for the 2020-21 season ending in May) + R110 SA Sailing Levy per annum
