Training to be held Sunday 29/05/2021 and 6/6/2021 at Kadina grass from 10am to 12pm.

The Yorke Peninsula Hockey Association will be sending teams to compete in the 2021 combined with players from the Clare & Districts Hockey Association. This carnival will be held on Saturday 12 th and Sunday 13 th June at the Adelaide Uni Hockey Club at West Beach (to be confirmed) with the grand final being played on Monday 14 th June.

You have been nominated for consideration for selection in the SJC. Trial selection and
training dates will be Sundays 23 rd , 30 th May and 6 th June, location to be confirmed. We need a firm commitment from players for attendance at trials/trainings and, if selected, that you will be able to attend the Championships.

It will be your responsibility to arrange accommodation, travel to and from Adelaide and the playing fields. A levy will be charged to cover costs to the Association of $50 per player, this also includes umpire fees and gifts for coaches and team managers. Players will be required to supply their own black shorts or skirt to play in.

Parents, please RSVP your child’s interest via the Revolutionise Sport website. Additional information and medical forms will be distributed to those players during trailing.

YPHA selection criteria for 2021 State Junior Championships:
1. Current eligible player in a YPHA/CDHA affiliated club.
2. Must be U13 on 1 st Jan 2021.
3. Completion of nomination form.
4. Attendance at trials/ trainings.
5. Ability of the player nominated.
6. Player must abide by the Hockey Australia Code of Conduct implemented by the
YPHA.

It is the Yorke Peninsula Hockey Associations intention to enter the strongest team and the
decision of players will be made by the selection panel and will be final.
