Mid Hills Netball Association run a summer season every year, spanning October - February, with a decent Christmas break in between. Games are played at the courts in Woodside, with Juniors on Tuesday nights and Seniors Wednesdays. More information regarding the MHNA summer competition can be found here.
WWNC facilitates junior teams to play in the Mid Hills Netball Association summer competition, however there are no trials or weekly training sessions during the summer season. Senior teams can nominate directly to MHNA and they are able to request to wear the WWNC uniform and hire a kit bag by contacting woodsidewarriorsnc@gmail.com.
Uniforms:
We are hosting a uniform night at the tennis clubrooms on Monday, 18 September 5:30 - 6:30pm. If you cannot make this uniform night, please advise the club via email asap. All uniform orders must be confirmed by 21 September so we can get them in time for the start of summer, please ensure you’ve advised any players in your team who may need a uniform. Registrations:
Registrations for individual junior players are now open, with the option to nominate a friend/s to play with (full team nominations are not accepted). Every effort will be made to place you with at least one of your nominated friends, subject to age restrictions, team numbers and team make up. WWNC does our best to carefully, and fairly, assess players and give the best opportunity for success in a team with a similar age and standard. Teams will be advised to WWNC members no later than 4 October.
All players are required to register to WWNC ($120) and Mid Hills Netball Association. If you played winter netball you will not have any additional charges to MHNA, if you’re new to netball this year this is an additional fee to cover your Netball SA affiliation. Junior players U9 – U17 play Tuesday nights at 6pm and 7pm, season dates for juniors are:
