Concussion Policy - Youth & Community Sport

"If in doubt, sit them out"

Concussion is a serious matter, and information regarding its short and long-term health implications continues to evolve, creating a real challenge for those responsible for the wellbeing of others.

Wrestling is a high contact combat sport, and concussions are a risk both in training and competition.

Coaches in youth and community sport have a responsibility to safeguard the health and safety of their athletes - which is why we have collated resources from the Australian Sports Commission to help us all understand concussion, treatment, and appropriate return to sport.
