The Altona Badminton Centre was officially opened in 1985 by Cr Les Crofts, the Mayor of the City of Altona.

WSBA is known as the most prestigious Badminton Specific Stadium in Victoria and comprises 12 courts, kiosk, pro-shop, toilets and change room facilities and a large foyer.

At WSBA we host and support a variety of State/Community/Junior/C Grade Pennant Badminton Tournaments/School Holiday Junior events and Social Days and Nights.

WSBA has a number of coaches ranging from Level 1 to Level 2 . Our coaches have extensive coaching and playing experience training state and Australian players and developing our juniors.

WSBA is also used by secondary and primary schools for physical education, training, and competition matches.

As part of our development program, we offer a Primary Schools Participation Program aimed at Grade 3 & 4 children.

Our facilities are also available for casual hire.
