The inaugral ACT Beach Wrestling championships
Male and female, senior and junior divisions as well as a special division for representatives of local football clubs, with the winner taking back a floating trophy to the clubhouse.

Entrants need to be financial members of ACT Wrestling.

Beach Wrestling Rules

The match consists of one period of three minutes

The first athlete to three points wins the match.

Each competitor should bring a towel

1 Point :  

Bringing any part of opponent body part to ground except the hands.

Bringing any part of opponent body part out of competition area

If your ooponent receives a caution

Note : the attacker can put one knee on the ground when executing an action

Wrestler who manages to takedown or throw opponent onto their backs
