Welcome to Water Polo Nights delivered by Water Polo Victoria!
A fun, social program for anyone 18 years and over who wants to give Water Polo a go, learn new skills, and enjoy some light-hearted, social games in a relaxed and inclusive environment.

We will be taking over the MSAC Dive Pool for 8-weeks for our social competition.

Water Polo Nights is a multi-week social Water Polo competition where you can get into the sport, meet new friends, and most importantly—have a great time! The program is open to both new and existing members. If you're not currently registered with Water Polo Victoria, make sure to sign up as a 'Bronze' or 'Silver' member before registering. When prompted, select 'New Member'.

What is Water Polo Nights?

Water Polo Nights is WPV's Social Competition. It is designed as a chance to play Water Polo matches in a round robin format, with relaxed rules and shorter games.

  • Open to everyone: Beginners, casual players, and experienced players aged 18+

  • Social games played with mixed and balanced teams each week—come solo or bring a group of mates!

  • A fun, non-competitive, and welcoming environment for all skill levels

  • A great way to build fitness, teamwork, ball handling, passing and shooting skills

  • A chance to challenge yourself, have fun, and meet like-minded people

Cost

  • $80 for all 8 competition weeks
  • *Additional $15 WPV Bronze Membership fee for new 24/25 members

Competition Rules will be sent to all participants prior to the first week. You can expect:

  • Minimal contact (less wrestling/agression)
  • Shorter games
  • Mixed teams
  • Relaxed rules

Each Social Thursday session includes:

  • Time to warm-up and stretch

  • Modified & social Water Polo matches—teams mixed weekly

  • Time to ask coaches questions and take breaks

What to bring:

  • Swimwear you’re comfortable in

  • Towel and warm clothes for after the session

  • A water bottle to stay hydrated

  • A good vibe and a keen attitude to try something new!
