Water Polo Tasmania is committed to growing our sport, improving player experiences and managing the cost of playing water polo in our state.

With this in mind we have created the opportunity for businesses to support our community via an annual water polo sponsorship program.

The sport in Tasmania consists of approximately 1,000 active members and is growing each year. It is roughly broken into the following age groups:

• 60% male and female members aged 10 to 14 years

• 25% male and female members aged 15 to 18 years

• 15% male and female members aged over 18 years.

During the school and club competitions, it's common to have around 600 spectators pool side during game night (22 Friday's each year). Flippa Ball events typically attract around 250 spectators on a Sunday night (20 Sunday's each year). We think this provides a wonderful opportunity for businesses to promote their products and services.

We have sponsorship packages ranging from $5,000 to $500 and it all helps keep costs down, invest in the necessary equipment and secure pool space to improve player experiences. You can view our WPTAS Sponsorship - Sponsorship Value Proposition and Structure document below.
