Training starts for AYC teams

Training starts Sunday 6th February at Clarence pool for players wishing to be considered for teams in the Australian Youth Water Polo Competition in Brisbane from 14-18 April 2022. Training is scheduled as follows:

14&U and 16&U girls coached by John Pankiw:

  • 4.45-6pm Sundays at Clarence pool
  • 7.15-8.40pm Thursdays at Clarence pool
  • 5.45-7pm Fridays at DKHAC

14&U and 16&U boys - coaches to be announced:

  • 6-7pm Sundays at Clarence pool
  • more days to be announced

18&U girls with Countries Senior Womens coached by Dean Wright:

  • 7.30-8.40pm Wednesdays at Clarence pool
  • 2-4pm Sundays at DKHAC (excluding 6 February)

18&U boys - coach to be announced:

  • training to be advised but can train with the Countries Senior Mens team on Sundays at 7-8pm at Clarence pool or at the same times as the 18&U girls in the mean time.

We welcome all players new and old to come along to the training sessions.

We also strongly encourage players wishing to be considered for selection for the 15&U, 17&U and 19&U National State Championships later in the year to start training now with relevant the AYC training squads, even if you're not wishing to be considered for an AYC team.

Please complete the below Player Nomination Form and hand to your coach at training. 

We will be trialing a new system where you will prepay training fees rather than pay on the day. More details to be provided by coaches/managers when to hand.
