Flippa Ball is a modified version of water polo designed for children aged 8-12 years. It's a simple game that can be played by all children regardless of swimming ability. It's a non-contact sport aimed at non-experienced water polo players and is played in the shallow end of the pool so players can touch the bottom. It's great fun and a wonderful way for children to get involved in water polo.
WPTAS runs competitions on a regular basis for primary school students in grades 3 to 6. Please keep an eye on our Water Polo Tasmania Facebook page as we regularly post important information about Flippa Ball such as when the next competition is, when team registrations are open and the closing date.
Flippa Ball is scheduled to run in Term 1 & Term 4 on Sunday nights between 3.10-8.10pm at Clarence Pool.
More details will be provided closer to the time. Please keep an eye on our Water Polo Tasmania Facebook page for more details when to hand.
