Welcome to Water Polo Come & Try School Gala Day (Year 7 & 8).

Water Polo Come & Try School Gala Day is designed as an introduction program for:

• beginners (existing WP players are welcome)
• played in Water Polo deep pool and in a non-contact environment
• provides great opportunity to learn and develop, teamwork, loco motor, ball handling, passing, and shooting skills
• is social, fun, and exciting
• skill sessions and team-based game activities
• participants will be engaged in activities throughout the duration of an event.

Program will include:

• Warm-up/education session
• Skilled base activities
• Water Polo modified games

Additional information:

• Same gender or mix gender teams are accepted
• Minimum 5 to Max 7 players to form a team
• School can participants same many as teams as they like
• Registration cost per participant is $10 (centre fee included).
• Life safety jackets, caps, coaches/referees will be provided.
• Spectators (families, friends, teachers) will have free access to the event.
• Participants are expected to a have basic swim and water safety ability
• Swim proficiency test will be conducted by SA Aquatic Centre on arrival. (one lap of 25mtr).
• Fill out Water Safety Form and upload at the time of registration.
