Junior Sailing Holiday Camps
Beginner/Intermediate
Woollahra Sailing Club, conducts school holiday camp programs for children aged between 7 and 16 years covering an array of water based and sailing activities, as well as fun games and team building exercises over four full days of fun on Sydney Harbour. The courses are run during all major school holiday periods throughout the year.
Our courses are fun, safe and fully supervised by qualified Sailing Australia instructors.
The cost includes instruction, boat usage and certificate.

Time: 9am till 3pm each day

Children will be groups of similar skill level and ages.
What to Bring
Each participant will need to bring:
- Board shorts, rashie or/and wetsuit
- A change of warm clothes, Towel
- Sunscreen and hat
- Old shoes or rubber boots for sailing
- A packed lunch and drink (including snacks) WSC canteen lunch packs also available
Course Overview
This course introduces participants to dinghy sailing and its fundamental skills so they learn terminology and equipment and practice launching and returning to shore and capsize recovery.
Course Prerequisites
Water confident.
Who should do this course?
This course is designed for participants who wish to begin sailing in a dinghy. All the equipment and gear will be provided by your accredited Discover Sailing Centre.
Course Outcome
You will gain your Start Sailing 1 completion certificate.
We recognise that some of our course participants are completing the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and may be using sailing and/or club membership to complete one or more sections of The Award. To learn more, click here.
