Hi Volunteers

After our day at Red Rock was so successful, I am Looking for expressions of interest for a float and picnic at Moonee Beach.

We would make our own way there in our own vehicles as it is not far from Woopi -- about 20 minutes drive. On weekdays there should be easy parking but take care going over the speed bumps on the way in and out. Stick to the road on the left and try to park near the toilet block and mobile food van. There is plenty of shade under big trees looking over the estuary. Tides are High at 10.44 am, Low tides at 4..51am, and at 4.39 pm.

The best time to hit the water is about 9-9.30 am so aim to be there by 9 am, don't forget floaties and sun protection and camp chairs. There are some picnic tables and a BBQ. As the beach is mainly sand, rock shows are not essential. There are small change rooms and toilets and an outside shower near the food van. The van makes good coffee and their toasties @$7 are great. There are picnic tables for those who want to take their own lunch.
