Australian Sailing (AS) is offering free sessions to women & girls in the following officiating roles;
Judge: Handles racing protests and appeals.
Race Officer: Conducts racing by laying racing courses, providing start and finish lines, and scoring competitions.
AS's focus is to increase female participation in sailing, which doesn’t mean that you have to be a sailor! A great way to get started and to find out if officiating in sailing appeals to you is to complete some online learning.
The mid-week evening sessions will be held at the Australian Sailing Qld Office, Manly with a female official & a staff member to guide you in your online learning experience and food & beverages will be provided.
