Sunday Afternoon Go Sailing (SAGS)
SAGS is a fun event open to all members and friends of the club. Come along to the WMYC patio most Sundays.
Ullman Short Handed Series 2024
The Short-Handed Series consists of seven races. Yachts are sailed either single handed or shorthanded (crew of 2), yachts that are sailed single handed will receive a handicap adjustment.
The St Helena Cup
12 & 13 October 2024
The flagship event of the WMSC calendar. Teams of 3 yachts compete on a grueling course over two days of sailing for the prestigious St Helena Cup. There are also hotly contested Multihull and Cruising divisions. The event is hosted on land by Wynnum Manly Yacht Club.
Club Championship
WMSC Club Championship is awarded to the best performing yacht over a selection of eight racing events, including selected SAGS Spinnaker Races, the St Helena Cup regatta and the Wynnum Manly Founders Trophy regatta.
Womens Championship
The Womens Championship is awarded to the best performing yacht owned/skippered by a woman over a selection of nine racing events, including selected SAGS Spinnaker Races, the St Helena Cup regatta, the Wynnum Manly Founders Trophy regatta and the Lady Skippers Race.
The Founders Trophy (Inshore) Regatta
Two passage races over two days in four divisions celebrating the foresight and legacy of our founding members, and the renowned hospitality of the WMYC.
