Sunday Afternoon Go Sailing is a regular Sunday afternoon pursuit sail conducted by WMSC and features a very pleasant social at the Wynnum Manly Yacht Club clubhouse to round out the day.
SAGS is open to all yachts wishing to enter, whether a member of Wynnum Manly Sailing Club (WMSC) or not, subject to the provisions of the SAGS Sailing Instructions. All yachts must comply with International Regulations for Prevention of Collisions at Sea and with MSQ’s safety requirements.
We race every Sunday from 27/1/2019 to 15/12/2019 except 21/4/2019, 7/7/2019 & 6/10/2019. However, racing will be abandoned on when winds exceeding 25 knots are predicted. We usually post a news item on our website when abandoning a race.
Skippers and visitors meet on the WMYC patio on Sundays between 12:00 and 12:20 when times are allocated and any visitors are placed on suitable yachts.
There is no online entry for SAGS.
