JOINING WMSC
Membership of Wynnum Manly Sailing Club Inc is open to any member of Wynnum Manly Yacht Club.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You must be a member of the Wynnum Manly Yacht Club in order to join the Wynnum Manly Sailing Club.
Wynnum Manly Sailing Club Inc is affiliated with Australian Sailing, and so members of WMSC will receive an Australian Sailing number, and have access to the various services of Australian Sailing. Your current Australian Sailing Number is mandatory for all of our events.
If you are a current member of the Wynnum Manly Yacht Club then your Membership fee for WMSC is only an additoinal $75.00 You can join by completing the WMSC form below and emailing it to chair@wynnummanlysailingclub.com.au or call in at the WMYC office or contact Jenny on 3393 5708 (Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm). Jenny will confirm your details, and then issue you an invoice for WMSC membership.
If you are not a member of the Wynnum Manly Yacht Club:
- Skippers and crew can still participate in Wynnum Manly Sailing Club events if you are a current member of another sailing club and have an Australian Sailing number.
- Alternatively, new or visiting crew who are not current members of another sailing club can take advantage of our introductory membership scheme, SailPass. SailPass gives you casual membership of Australian Sailing, including an Australian Sailing number (if you don't have one), and entitles you to participate in up to 10 Wynnum Manly Sailing Club events in your first 12 months, from $10 - $20 per day. If you are enjoying the club more than ten times in a year you are expected to join.
- Join the Wynnum Manly Yacht Club (full details of membership types and benifits here). Having joined WMYC when you join WMSC the amount you have spent on SailPasses in the financial year you join will be credited against your Sailing Club membership fee.
The Wynnum Manly Yacht Club will also rebate Sailing Club membership fees in certain circumstances.
