Competition:               Block Play : Level Play

Registration :              Entry Fee : $30 per player. Payable on registration

Closing date:              30 May 2025 (unless fully subscribed earlier)  

Time:                           Registration from 7:30 am. Games commence at 8:00am

Prize:                           Brooch awarded to the winner of each block

Refreshments:           BYO lunch. Tea, coffee and snacks provided

CONDITIONS OF PLAY

The event will be conducted in accordance with the WCF Laws of Association Croquet (Seventh Edition) April 2021

  • Players must provide an Australian Croquet Association (ACA) number to be eligible to enter.

  • All entries will be notified of acceptance, once payment has been received.

Draw: Block A, B, C, D (numbers permitting).  All games are subject to alteration depending on entries. Format is for block, round robin - dependent on entries.

  • Limit of 4 entries per block.

  • Draws are seeded, based on the player's world ranking at time of preparation of the draw (the Monday before the event).

  • The draw, once finalised, will be available on Croquet Scores https://croquetscores.com/

  • Refunds will not be given once the draw has been published on Croquet Scores.

Games:        Timed at  2.5 hours

Equipment: Dawson International regulations balls. Quadway hoops set at 3 11/16 inches.

Handicap/Index: - 

  • Index cards are required on the day. - Mandatory.

  • Index cards must be updated after each games. Final indexes must be recorded on the Tournament Handicap Record before leaving the venue. 

  • Handicap changes will be effective after completion of any game in which players pass a trigger point.

  • Game results are to be recorded on the Record of Results and signed by both players.

Forfeiting:    A competitor forfeiting a game will be withdrawn: scores for and against will be deleted from the results but game results will be computed in rankings and on handicaps cards.   

Appeals:    The Tournament Referee will resolve all appeals.  

N.B. Photos will be taken on the day and will be used on social media for promotional purposes.

The Tournament Manager will decide whether play in any match should continue if the weather is deteriorating.

Windsor Croquet Club reserves the right to cancel any event and all decisions of the manger will be final
