The Australian live music industry forms a vibrant part of Australia’s arts and culture landscape. Original contemporary Australian music provides a window into the soul of our great country and Australian music is one of the untold success stories of the nation.
COVID-19 is having unprecedented effects on communities in Australia including Whyalla. The particular effects of COVID-19 on creative and cultural activity are evident and have been considered as part of the national response, which is focused on keeping Australians in jobs. The Whyalla music industry is facing particular pressures in light of the severe impacts of COVID-19.
To support the industry, we are delighted to say that we are hosting live music at the club every week, at the Sports Bar & Bistro to allow the Whyalla Local community to come relax with families and enjoy listening to local talent young and old.
