Tackers Boat Hire: $50.00 for a regatta
Responsibilities: Parents will play a crucial role in this process. We kindly ask that you take on the responsibility of looking after the Tackers boats during the event. This includes:
1. Transport Coordination: Assisting in organising the transport of the Tackers boat and its equipment to and from the regatta venue.
2. Boat Care: Please ensure that the Tackers boats are used responsibly and treated with care throughout the event. Make sure your child understands the importance of respecting the equipment.
3. Fittings and Parts: Keep an eye on all fittings and parts of the boats. Ensure that they are properly secured and not lost during the sailing sessions. If any components are damaged or missing, please report it immediately to Camille Gallais at the regatta.
4. Return to Whitsunday Sailing Club: At the conclusion of the event, it is your responsibility to return the Tackers boat and all associated fittings and parts to the Whitsunday Sailing Club. There will be a designated drop-off point for your convenience if you are unable to return the boat directly to the club.
Note: This is not an Australian Sailing accredited course and instead is conducted by the school/club/organisation, outside of the Australian Sailing framework.
