2022 NSW XC CHAMPS

EVENT DISTANCES (for Individual and Team Results purposes)
- 3km: U12 Male/Female
- 3km: U14 & Para Athletes Male/Female
- 4km: U16 Male/Female & U18 Female
- 6km: U18 Male, U20, 50-80+ Years Female & 70-80+ Years Male
- 8km: U20, 50-69 Years Male
- 10km: Open, 30-49 Years Male/Female
All age groups are run by Athletics NSW Age Group Determination dates, meaning that the age the athlete turns by 31 December 2022, is the "under" age group they fall into.
E.g. an athlete turning 12 or turning 13 years old in 2022, will be running in the U14 age group.
Timing Chips: The event will be timed via a corresponding timing chip placed on the back of the competition bib, to be worn on the front of the athlete's top. This timing chip is valid only for this event, and may be discarded once the athlete has completed their race.
Uniform: All athletes must wear their Athletics NSW affiliated club uniform, or their Dual Little Athletics NSW/Athletics NSW affiliated club uniform. All athletes will be provided their competition numbers on the day, complete with timing chip.
