About our Club

West Gambier Hockey Club is a member of the Lower South East Hockey Association, with its shared home ground at Blue Lake Sports Park in Mount Gambier, South Australia. The Lower South East Hockey Association has one artificial water-based turf field, and two grass fields, however, as many games as possible are scheduled on the turf.

West usually nominates teams in every senior and junior division of the local competition:

Divisions 1, 2 & 3 Men, Divisions 1, 2 & 3 Women, U16 Boys, U16 Girls, U13 Boys and U13 Girls.

Age eligibility for junior teams is under 13 years or under 16 years at 31 December of the previous year and children must be at least 8 years old to start playing in under 13s. The association offers many junior events and trainings for our younger cohort, get in contact with us if you are interested!
