The moderate south-easterlies attracted a good fleet and produced close racing in all divisions.

Division 1 saw all new crew combinations with Vincent Cross and his mate Tom Collins sailing Will Fleming's Hobie Wan Kenobie.  Meanwhile Will, who had to leave early for basketball, skippered BlackJack in the first race and then handed over to crew Adam Smith who sailed the second race solo.  Martin Corcoran made an impressive WYC debut in his Taipan and Steve Cross teamed up with David Burford in the Nacra.

In Division 2, Col Franke managed to hold off the opposition in all three races with Simon Spalding, Mark Axton and Joe Etherson sharing the minor placings

Division 3 saw some great racing with Bryan Hill first over the line in the first two races but the improving Joshua Franke taking handicap honours in both those races.  Alan Bryson and Anthony Cook filled out the placings.  In the final race of the day, Alan Bryson got to the front and took out line and handicap honours.
