The Nacra 350 is a new 11ft boat designed to teach children and teens the enjoyment of catamaran sailing, as a club racer and just for fun.  It features Mylar boomless mainsail and jib, deep kick up rudders (great for safe beaching), roller traveller and trapeze kit and all the latest technology in design and build techniques.  The boat looks modern, features all the modern equipment available on larger boats but is still simple to sail and very versatile.

The Nacra 350 is an ideal platform for younger people to refine the art of catamaran sailing, and it is small enough to be handled around the beach with ease.  WYC provides ample monohulls (Optimists, Bics and Pacers) for sail training.  However, with catamarans being predominant  in the WYC racing fleet, used in the America’s Cup and the fastest boats in the Olympics, children are looking at multihulls and seeing them as exciting, faster, easy to sail and wanting to start learning on one.  The added trapeze system will bring a whole new life to children who have never experienced the art of flying a hull while on trapeze, and it has still got enough excitement in it for the older person looking for a small catamaran to have fun on.
