Launching from WYC

Tractors, Quad Bike & Rescue Boats

Our tractors and rescue boats are expensive assets and need to be looked after.

Before using tractors or rescue boats, members must undertake training to ensure they understand not only the technical aspects of using the machinery but also the relevant maintenance processes.

The list of members qualified to use club tractors and rescue boats is available to members using the relevant filter on the Member Directory

Members not listed here who need to use tractors must contact Lindsay Wrigley ( siroccorise@gmail.com , 0419 307 973 ) to arrange a training session.

Members not listed here who are rostered to drive rescue boats must contact Lynn Dugay ( landadugay2@bigpond.com , 0403 741 471 ) or Andrew Hill ( Andrewhill@live.com.au , 0409 252 332 ) to arrange a training session.

For those who are registered, the points below should provide a handy reminder about how to look after the club's machinery

Tractors

Please remember that when operating the tractors they are your responsibility and you must take all due care and be responsible for preventing avoidable damage to these items.

All tractors are to be washed and cleaned thoroughly before being stored.

Tractors need to be rinsed straight away after being dipped in salt water not left until your return.

A $30 refundable key deposit is required.

Quad Bike

A quad bike is available to club members to assist with launching and retrieving off the beach water craft. Usage will be governed by these guidelines
