1.      The Rules in use shall be those of the World Squash Federation.

2.      All communication to the members shall be via the Notice Board and via Electronic Communication.

3.      Pennant Competitions, Inter Club Matches and Social Days

a.      Teams representing the Club will be chosen by the Selection Committee

b.      The Selection Committee will choose teams strictly on merit with reference to the Sporty HQ or the current body determining a player’s rating.

c.       The Selection Committee shall appoint Team Captains, although if the appointed player declines, then the members of the team may appoint their own Captain by majority decision.

d.      Club Captain or Vice-Captain:

                           I.          Arrange reserves for team shortages.

                         II.          Address any team related issues from players.

                       III.          Enter the Match result scores on Sporty HQ

                       IV.          Arrange court allocations with Northmead Squash Centre and provide team score sheets for competition

                         V.          Prepare Club Championships and Social Day draws

                       VI.          Maintain weekly reports on the 2 Pennant Competitions game results for the best overall point’s averages (Elwyn Griffiths Memorial Trophy)

                     VII.          Maintain a record of playing shirts and jackets on hand

                  VIII.          Present Club Captain’s Report for the AGM & EOY Meeting

                       IX.          Administer Pennant & Club Championship on-line registrations.

                         X.          Administer WhatsApp Notice Board & Pennant groups.

                       XI.          Administer Email Notice Board & Pennant groups.

                     XII.          Administer revSPORT website.

d.      Reserve Policy  for Pennant Teams:

                           I.          When a reserve is required, it is the Team Captain's responsibilty to find a suitable replacement, either from via direct contact to any existing registered WLSC team member or The WhatsApp Pennant Group.

                         II.          If for some reason a suitable replacement cannot be sourced, the Team Captain should contact the Club Captains for assistance.

                       III.          As with the Wenty Leagues Squash Club's Constitution, the reserve replacement must be a registered Wenty Leagues Club member.

4.      Internal Matches

a.      Internal club tournaments will be controlled by the Selection Committee.

b.      All preliminary matches are to be played on or before nominated times and dates, not after

c.       All matches will be marked and refereed by nominees of the Selection Committee

d.      Handicaps will be allocated by the Selection Committee using the Sporty HQ or the current body determining a player’s rating.

e.      All tournament matches will be played to a conclusion. If time does not permit, the match is to be resumed at the point where the match was interrupted

f.        Winner to supply the result to the Selection Committee at the earliest time after the match. 

5.      Life Membership.

a.      A minimum of 10 years on the Executive or Sub Committees and has made a major, worthwhile and valued contribution towards the activities of the Squash Club OR

b.      A minimum of 20 years of playing Pennant Competition with the Squash Club and has made a major, worthwhile and valued contribution towards the activities of the Squash Club.

Any registered Squash Club member can nominate a person to be considered for Life Membership to the Executive Committee in writing.

6.      Club Person of the Year: The Ken Darke Trophy

The criterion for this award is that the member selected must have displayed a good example both on and off the court. It is not necessary that they have been the top performing player of the Club

They must have contributed to the betterment of the Club by their attitude and dedication to squash. It is also taken into consideration that the member has participated in both Autumn & Spring Pennant Competitions, the Club Championships and other Club organized events.

Nominations for this award can be made by any registered player to one of the Club’s playing Life members

7.      Annual Presentations

The winners of the respective Club Championships to receive relative Division Trophy plus a $50.00 Wenty Leagues Club gift card. The runner ups to receive a $20.00 Wenty Leagues Club gift card

The winners of the 2 Pennant Competitions to receive a trophy plus a $50.00 Wenty Leagues Club gift card.

The winner of the Social Day/Night events to receive a $50.00 Wenty Leagues Club gift card. The runner up to receive a $20.00 Wenty Leagues Club gift card.

There will 2x lucky door prizes ($20.00 Wenty Leagues Club gift card) presented at the AGM and the End of Year Celebration and 1x lucky door prize ($20.00 Wenty Leagues Club gift card) presented at the Social Day/Night events.
