What happened to the Wenty Café?

Published Tue 16 Jan 2024

The Café: Relocation and Access: The Wenty Café, now renamed The Café, has been relocated to the former CHAR / ENVY location. It can be accessed by stairs next to the ATMs, with an alternative lift access from the reception area. The Café operates Sunday to Thursday from 09:00 AM to 03:30 AM, and on Friday & Saturday from 09:00 AM to 05:30 AM. Adhering to its previous policy, The Café does not permit children, restricting access to individuals over 18. Families with children are encouraged to visit other areas of the club, including The Plaza, which offers a variety of dining options.

The Café: Services and Offerings: The Café now includes TAB / KENO operations with vision and self-service terminals available during its trading hours. It continues to serve favourite Wenty classic dishes and introduces exciting new menu items (see here).

CHAR & ENVY: Closure and Future Plans: CHAR & ENVY ceased operations on 31st December. These closures were necessary to accommodate the temporary relocation of The Café & The Bar for the construction of the Entertainment Hub. Post-construction, there are plans to reinstate CHAR & ENVY as premium food and beverage outlets. Existing CHAR gift cards have been converted to Wenty Leagues Club gift cards, applicable across various outlets except for Gaming Services.

Additional Information: Seating and Trading Hours: With the absence of the Wenty Lounge, seating is available in The Café, The Bar, and Magpie areas. For families with children, The Plaza and Al Fresco areas remain accessible. The Wenty Bar operates on Friday and Saturday nights from 5:00 PM to midnight. The Magpie Bar maintains its current trading hours from Thursday to Sunday.
