The Wenty Leagues Squash Club would like to announce that voting for the 2024 Club Person of the Year is now open. This is an award that is presented annually to a member who epitomizes dedication, sportsmanship, and commitment to the club's values. This honour, recognized as the Ken Darke Trophy, pays tribute to the significant contributions of one of our founding members and life members, Ken Darke.
About the Award
The Ken Darke Trophy recognizes a member who:
- Sets a positive example on and off the court.
- Actively contributes to the club through a ‘can-do’ attitude and consistent involvement.
- Participates in all club events, including Pennants and Club Championships.
How to Vote
All eligible, registered members are encouraged to cast their vote. Follow these steps to ensure your voice is heard:

- Hand your completed voting card to Trevor Ryan, Life Member, at any upcoming club event.
- Alternatively, email your voting card to trevoryan@wentyleagues.com.au.
- Votes remain anonymous and will be carefully reviewed by Trevor Ryan to ensure fairness and transparency.

- Winner Announcement: The recipient of the Ken Darke Trophy will be announced by Trevor Ryan at the Annual Presentation Dinner on Sunday, March 9, 2025.
