Michael Schultz Honoured at 60th Anniversary Gala Celebration

The Combined Annual Presentation and 60th Anniversary Gala Celebration of the Wenty Leagues Club, held in the Blaxland Room, was a night of elegance and recognition. Among the highlights was the presentation of the Club Person of the Year award, a prestigious honour bestowed upon Michael Schultz for his outstanding contributions to the club.
The Presentation: The award was presented by Life Member, Trevor Ryan who praised Michael for his dedication and the positive impact he has had on the club. "Michael’s commitment to our club is unparalleled. His efforts have significantly contributed its growth and success," Trevor remarked as he handed over the Ken Darke Memorial Trophy.
Special Video Tribute: Following the official presentation, Club President John Musumeci, who served as the Master of Ceremonies for the night, introduced a special video tribute dedicated to Michael Schultz. The video highlighted Michael’s journey with the club and his achievements. The tribute was a touching acknowledgment of Michael’s contribution to the Squash Club and the positive influence he has had on everyone around him. The video is available here for viewing.
A Humorous Finale: As well as the Ken Darke Memorial Trophy, Michael was also the proud recipient of a Red Ford Mustang Convertible.
The presentation was a fitting tribute to Michael Schultz’s commitment to Wenty Leagues Squash Club.
