On Saturday, 16 November 2024, Wenty Leagues Squash Club hosted the first event in the Inter-Club Challenge series against Toongabbie Leisure Centre at Northmead Squash Courts. With 18 players from each club competing across six divisions, the day was filled with excitement, competitive spirit, and memorable moments.
Despite Wenty’s strong performances and close matches, Toongabbie narrowly claimed victory with 10 matches to 8, 41 games to 34, and a slim points margin of 977 to 936.
After the matches, both teams came together to enjoy pizzas, drinks, and conversation, reflecting on the day’s efforts and rekindling the friendly rivalry that has existed for years between the two clubs.
