The EOYC 2024 was held on Thursday, November 28, at the Pavilion at Wenty Leagues Club. The evening brought together current members, special guests, and past members, achieving a record attendance of 62 participants—a 15% increase from previous years.
Reflecting on a Milestone Year
This year, our club celebrated a significant milestone: 60 years of squash, camaraderie, and achievement. The highlight of 2024 was undoubtedly the 60th Anniversary Gala Dinner and Annual Presentation Night on June 1. During the EOYC, members revisited this unforgettable night through a specially produced Tribute Video, combining live moments, speeches, and stunning photos captured by Wenty Leagues' professional photographer. The video showcases the energy, history, and unity that define our club.

· President’s Welcome: John Musumeci opened the evening, reflecting on the club’s remarkable journey and outlining the program, which included supper, updates, and the much-anticipated Tribute Video.

o The success of the Spring Pennant Grand Finals across four divisions.
o Voting for the prestigious Ken Darke Trophy for Club Person of the Year, featuring an improved voting process for inclusivity and transparency.
o Updates on service awards, newly acquired memorabilia, and plans for 2025, including club apparel and an exciting events calendar.

Looking Ahead
With the EOYC behind us, we eagerly anticipate 2025, starting with the Club Championships in February, the Autumn Pennant and Annual Presentation & Dinner in March. Exciting plans include new club merchandise, Player's Clinics, Social Events, Inter Club Challenges plus the rollout of a modernized competition system through MySquashAUS.
