Several Wenty Leagues Squash Club players & friends competed in the Australian Masters Squash Championships 2023 Individual Event at Dural Squash Centre held from 4th to 8th September.

Congratulations to all our “Seasoned Squash Masters” Peter Bastow (Men’s 50-54 3rd place), Anne Bennett (Women’s 65-69 Div 1 Winner), Sam Farrugia (Men’s 65-69 Winner), Rob Spooner (Men’s 80-84 Winner) and Napoti Teremaki (Women’s 65-69 Open 4th Place). Well done on your efforts, skill, determination, results, and most of all, the sportsmanship displayed during the event.

Special mention goes to those on the Committee for assisting during the Championships: Wendy Fox, Monica Rigby, Napoti Teremaki & Cole Wells.

The AMSC 2023 Teams Event will be conducted at both Dural and Thornleigh Squash Centres from 11th to 15th September. The following WLSC members will be competing: Peter Bastow, Wendy Fox, Annette Hopkins, Chris Olsen, Monica Rigby, Rob Spooner, Napoti Teremaki & Cole Wells. WLSC would like to wish you all an enjoyable and successful week of squash. If anyone can make it down to either Dural or Thornleigh to watch and support our members, that would be great.
