ANNUAL PRESENTATION 12/03/2023
Our Annual Presentation and Dinner was held for the first time at the new, spacious, and luxurious function room ‘Blaxland West’ located on Level 1 of Wenty Leagues Club on Sunday 12 March 2023. It was a great night attended by over 70 guests. The venue, menu, wine & drinks, and music supplied by WLSC-Radio were all top class.
Wenty Leagues Club President Ian McCann was our special guest to present the trophies and prizes to the Autumn & Spring Sydney Pennant 2022 Grand Final teams, the Club Championships 2023 winners & runners up, The Service Awards, Elwyn Griffiths Points Score Award & The Ken Darke Club Person of the Year Award.

The Elwyn Griffiths Points Score Award was awarded to Peter Bastow with an incredible score of 8.45 out of 10, a testament to his dominance and consistency throughout 2022.
The Ken Darke Club Person of the Year Award was presented to John Musumeci. This prestigious award is decided by WLSC Life Members and goes to the member that has displayed a good example both on and off the court and contributed to the betterment of WLSC with their ‘can-do’ attitude and dedication to squash. We were honoured to have this award presented by Tracey Drake, the daughter of Founding Member and Life Member Ken Darke.
We also recognised the years of continuous club membership with our Service Awards, which were presented to Gillian Kirby for 15 years, Chris Olsen 20 years & Michael Schultz 35 years. Its dedication and loyalty demonstrated by these members that makes our squash club the BEST.
