It is with great excitement that I let you all know that after 2 long years, Wentworth are again the hosts for the Annual Easter Rowing Regatta, held in conjunction with the Mildura Rowing Club. And with every event comes the cost of running it! Therefore we are seeking Sponsorship to make this event great!
The Rowing Club has been maintaining a profile at various regattas, both actual and virtual. In the last twelve months we have had rowers competing at the Australian National Rowing Championships, Australian National Masters Rowing Championships and the Australian National Indoor Rowing Championships. We have been competitive in all of these and our crews have won medals in several events.
Additionally to the Easter Regatta, we host the Royal Flying Doctor Rowathon annually in September, which brings a large number of visitors to the area. We are trying to lift the profile of Wentworth District Rowing Club and attract more people to our event this Easter and we hope you can assist us to achieve this.
This year the event is in Wentworth on the Easter weekend, Saturday 16 & Sunday 17 April and brings clubs from Melbourne and Adelaide, as well as other regional clubs.
We are planning to make it a great weekend, not just for the club but the whole town.
