On Sunday 17 July at the Wentworth District Rowing Club AGM we saw two of the our long standing Committee members step down from their duties. Thanks must go to Geoff Rix - former President for 9 years and Janine Smith - former Treasurer for 8 years, the hard work and efforts they both have put in have been outstanding, thank you.

The 2022/2023 committee was elected with the following commitee now in  place:

President - Flo Howard
Vice President - Chrisso Boseley
Secretary - Roz Ford
Treasurer - Cathryn Dawes
Captain & Head Coach - Bec Marshall
Committee Members - Sam Cross, Stan Woods, Brian Reid & Janine Smith

Membership fees were set, along with the guidelines for these relevant memberships. Please see an update below:

• Full Member: full access to the club and its facilities. New members will receive key and fob after a three month probation - $200.00
  ***If you choose to compete in a regatta, and extra $75.00 will be invoiced***
• Family Memebership: full access to the club and its facilties for 2 adults and unlimited children up to the age of 18; all children must be supervised by a full paying member at all times; new members will receive key and fob after a three month probation - $500.00
• Student Membership: full access to the club and its facilties; must be a school student up to and including Year 12, full-time University or TAFE student; all children must be supervised by a full paying member at all times; new members will receive key and fob after a three month probation - $140.00
• Social Membership: members at the discretion of the committee and are then permitted the of the facilties including gym, equipment, ergs and boat usage as authorised by the Captain or Executiev Committee member; these memebrs are not entitled to vote; this classification covers local community members who do not use or partake in gym or rowing just want the social side; also our visiting rowing friends from other clubs and past members who still want to stay in contact. This is not for members who partake in regular activity at the club - $50.00

In the coming week you will be receiving your invoices for the year and we ask that these are paid by 31 August. There are a number of payment options which you will see on the invoice and we do have the option for payment plans, please contact our Treasurer, Cathryn Dawes once you receive your invoice.

We are looking for a great season ahead after 2 years of uncertainity and hope to seel new members and our old ones around the club!
