Softball Batter Up is a modified softball program that teaches fundamental skills through a series of FUN and SAFE games for kids.
As Softball Australia’s national participation program, Softball Batter Up, is designed to be fun, flexible and engaging for children (ages 4-8), focusing on fun activities while learning basic throwing, catching, striking and decision making skills.
The program will be adapted for all ages and abilities using the Game Sense and CHANGE IT approach. Softball Batter Up activities align with the national health and physical education curriculum in schools, are written with the purpose of engaging children in physical activity and fostering a life-long love of sport.

Includes a range of activities each week focusing on having fun while learning basic throwing, catching and striking skills.
There are two participation options. The $40 option is for registration and six weeks of fun. The $60 includes registration, a foam bat, ball, backpack and of course the fun!

Round 3 of the Get Active Kids Voucher Program is NOW OPEN! Do your children love sport and getting active? Does your family or child have a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card? You may be eligible for up to $200 to put towards the cost of your child’s participation in sport and active recreation activities. The Get Active Kids Voucher Program helps eligible families get their kids involved in organised sport and active recreation activities by reimbursing the cost of membership and registration fees, uniforms, and equipment. Eligible children may be able to receive up to $200 each. Special consideration also applies for children residing in care services as well as temporary or provisional visa holders, undocumented migrants or international students. Applications for vouchers in Round three of the Program open on Monday 4 October 2021 and close on Tuesday 30 November 2021.
