The following are the communications from the MWSA committee:-

1. Working Bee Scheduled for 9am on 13/2/22 – we need as many people there as possible. Please bring shovel/rake

2. If you only pay for a plate umpire the team must provide 2 base umpires (not 1)

3. If you hire MWSA umpires to do their duty the cost is $60 no matter how many umpires do the game. Many of these games will be a plate umpire & 1 base umpire and each should receive $30 (not $30 & $15).

4. Please avoid having day time training on Diamond 2 as its getting worn out by over use

5. This Saturday the annual Sun Run is scheduled. It is expected that the roads around Abbott Rd will be closed until 7.45am (its up to the police to declare them open)

6. A short slow pitch competition is being scheduled for late February/March – details will come soon

7. On a Saturday late Feb or early March we’ll be adding some fun activities to coincide with Saturday games – more details will follow

8. We plan to have a rep presentation/picnic on 20/3/22 to wrap up what would have been done in the last few years (Rep Dinner) had it not been for COVID
