Hookin2Hockey - Come & Try links the in school sessions that many new to hockey players have experienced and enjoyed and helps them progress their interest into the sport for life.

Players will be greeted in a relaxed environment by experienced coaches who will also help new and returning players and families navigate joining the hockey community should they wish. They will start with players of a similar age and all skill levels are catered for. Try something new, makes some new friends, join the community.

All equipment provided, just turn up and enjoy the experience.

Our standard days and times are below. But dont let that stop you if you cant make any of these, please email us events@localhockey.me and we will arrange for a time that will suit.

On completion of the come & try session at the very least you've tried something new and had some exercise, at best you are on the road to Olympic glory and been introduced to a sport and friends for life... Its absolutely no obligation, no cost and commitment free to come & try.

We have plenty of teams looking for players of all ages and we have competitons running all year round which you can join anytime. Competitons range from family and new to hockey, mixed, junior and open grades all graded to ensure all players and teams are competitive and having fun.

Hockey is a sport played equally by men and women across Australia and the world. Our junior competitions remain mixed right through until under 17s . Competitve hockey is enjoyed by players well into their 60s and 70s. Come & Try Hockey, makes some new friends and start the sport and that will last a lifetime...
