For our mini players aged 5-8 years. Registered players attending their first Minkey Academy session will be given (to keep) a new stick, shin pads, playing top and mouth gaurd. Players will be greeted in a relaxed environment by experienced coaches who will also help new players and families navigate joining the hockey community.

Players can attend as many of the sessions as they wish!  Once a week, twice a week, twice a month - it's completely up to what suits you.  We do recommend attending a minimum of 4 Minkey Academy events though  - then you will be eligible to GRADUATE and after registration can join a team and play competition.

Hockey is a sport played equally by men and women across Australia and the world. Our junior competitions remain mixed right through until under 17s . Competitve hockey is enjoyed by players well into their 60s and 70s. Come to the Minkey Academy, start a sport and make new friends that will last a lifetime...
