Sailing is our passion here and on any Sunday through the sailing season (weather permitting) you will find our sailors on the waters of the beautiful Wallaroo Bay.

Wallaroo has a diverse range of boats racing each week

8 boats make up our Sabre fleet and this is growing weekly. 

The sabre is a single handed sail boat. Usually fibre glass hull with timber decking. The rig is simple and the boat is easy to handle but quite exhilarating in a stiff breeze. It is suited to sailors of all skill levels.

We also have a small fleet of Tasars. Also a fibre glass hull. A 2 person sailing dinghy with a jib and a mainsail. This was designed for husband/wife or parent /child crews. With this in mind the design will handle a combined crew weight of 140kg

. 

Hartley TS16's, Lasars and the Pacers and Opti's for the juniors make up the racing line up.

In the past few years the club has expanded its club rooms enabling the club to hire the facilities to the public for weddings, conferences, meetings etc.

Friday night it is open to club members and the public for drinks and dinner. Come and experience a wonderful dining experience.
