The Valley View Softball Club formed in 1977, to play in the Central Districts Softball Association at Ridley Road, Elizabeth, SA.

In the first season the club had a single team.

The first club premiership came in the following year, 1978, with a team in A(2) grade coached by Lee Hull.

The Club later became known as the
Valley View Eagles Softball Club.
