Please note, there will be NO SCUBA THEORY session at 6:30 PM, we are too busy diving this month.  But you are welcome to arrive at the usual time of 6.30 for social catch up and dinner before the 8pm presentation.

The scuba theory workshop will return in June.

On 5th March 2022 the Endurance22 Expedition, organised and funded by the Falklands Maritime Heritage Trust (FMHT), located the wreck of Sir Ernest Shackleton’s iconic three-masted polar sailing ship, Endurance, which had not been seen since it was crushed by ice in the Weddell Sea in 1915.

Hear from Elena Lewendon (FMHT CEO), the about the efforts and extremes endured to find this ship deep in the Weddell Sea of the Antarctic ocean.

Post-Presentation Agenda:

Following the presentation, we will move into the Photo Competition segment, followed by discussions on safety items, upcoming events, travel updates, and the Photo Competition.

Photo Competition Rules:

• You may submit up to two photos.
• Photos must have been taken in the prior 4-6 weeks.
• Photos must be your own work.
• Images should have some connection to diving (a photo with water typically suffices).

How to Enter:

• Ensure your photo is high resolution and in JPG format (bonus points for files under 5MB).
• Name the file using the following format: name_title_location_month.jpg (e.g., JaneDoe_Seahorse_GreatBarrierReef_February.jpg).
