Eliza Ramsden wreck dive
Event information
Registrations for this event are closed.
The Eliza Ramsden, a three-masted iron sailing barque with a clipper bow, is one of Victoria's most spectacular shipwreck sites. Sunk in 1875 after just one year in service.
We have a permit to dive the Eliza Ramsden wreck this Saturday.
It is close to the shipping channel and we must adhere to all of the harbour master directives. Even with a permit in hand, the dive may still be cancelled by the Harbour Master if there is shipping in the area. If we are cancelled then we will find another site to dive nearby.
This is not a very deep wreck, but we insist divers have at least a 30m Deep qualification and more than 100 dives logged to attend this excursion.
