We have chartered the MV Kalinda for a 9 day liveaboard expedition leaving from Thursday Island (Far North Queensland). We will be diving The Great Detached Reef which is famed for its spectacular walls some dropping all the way down to 500m. This is an area that not too many people ever get the chance to dive and it will be an epic trip. We will be also supporting the GBR and MV Kalinda with thier marine surveys on the outer reefs that rarely get visited.

Schedule:

Thursday 23 Nov 2023 4pm'ish arrive at Horn Island (Thursday Island).

Take bus from Airport to Warf (don't get on the ferry) MV Kalinda will collect us from the wharf. ($15-$20 bus fee each way fee payable).

MV Kalinda arrives back at Horn Island 4pm'ish December 2nd (need overnight accommodation).

Sunday December 3rd fly out 8am back to Melbourne.

This trip is strictly limited to 12 divers and at this point is full. Please register your interest to be added to a waiting list in case of cancellations and adding we want to add a 2nd trip option subject to numbers.
