Are you a diver, do you want to learn something new?

Our Boat Owners want to give you a whole new experience on how to handle a boat.

VSAG boat owners want our club "Boat Captains" to be able to safely handle a boat, to the level of;

• Weather Forecasting
• Knots, Navigating, Reading water patterns, Wind affects
• Backing the trailer into the water
• Launching & retrieving the boat
• Traversing the mouth of Port Phillip Bay and other bars like those at Inverloch
• Safely docking at a pier
• Retrieving Divers when drift diving
• and more.

Whilst it's way early, the VSAG Committee members want to actively plan this event and get people thinking about this day.

Subject to weather, we may also plan for a Scallop Dive and post event barbecue.

Oh and you don't need a boat licence to be part of the day, but it will help!

Boat driving is open to club members only. Barbecue open to family and friends.
