 Quadball (formerly quidditch) is a mixed gender, full contact, competitive sport. First adapted in 2005 from J.K Rowlings Harry Potter series, it has since become one of the fastest growing sports around the world. The sport has evolved in the years since it’s inception, however it still keeps the fundamental concepts from the original game such as staying mounted on a broomstick and the various player positions and balls.

As the only full contact mixed gendered sport in the world, the community prides itself in it’s inclusiveness. People of all genders are welcome to compete in quidditch as is any person who identifies as LGBTQ+. All are welcome.

Quadball Victoria is always welcoming new players to join our community! Within our league and through representative opportunities we aim to cater for players of all skill levels. We currently run an adults league (VIC Cup) for players aged 16 and over. VIC Cup is the main quidditch event in Victoria where teams battle it out one Sunday a month during the winter season (April - September).
