Thanks for signing up to Wednesday Junior Squash!

 

The coaches will once again be Sue Hillier, Derek Nunn and myself.

 

Equipment:

Glasses - It is compulsory for Juniors (under 19) to wear protective glasses. We provide glasses for the juniors to use free of charge. If you wish to purchase your own, these are available for $20 each.

Racquets – these are provided for juniors to use free of charge

Water bottles – could the children please bring a water bottle each week. There is a fountain near Court 4 to refill your bottles.

 

Uniforms:

When joining, the players all receive a free Vic Park shirt. If you have not received yours, please let me know. The Vic Park squash club also have a uniform that is available for purchase via the shop https://www.revolutionise.com.au/vps/shop/7807.

 

 

WA squash registration & Insurance:

Vic Park Squash offers the option for the Juniors to be registered players with Squash WA and would mean that they would be covered for insurance in the event of an injury. This is an annual fee.

There are two different options available:

 

VPS Junior LIFESTYLE Membership - For social and casual players. Allows participation at club level only (i.e. in-house competitions and club championships.) No competition license provided (i.e. tournaments, Squash WA leagues/pennants).

 

VPS Junior LOCAL Membership – For junior players (19 & under) who wish to play in a variety of WA based competitions (e.g. pennants, tournaments, leagues, in-house competitions, etc.) Provides competition license for state, local & club events. If any of the children participate in tournaments then it is compulsory for this registration. Please also note, that you only require one registration. If you have already registered through another club then you are already covered.
