The course will cover:

• The role of the referee
• Volleyball rules
• In-game court positioning
• Hand signals
• Match protocols

To attend the Volleyball Australia Level 2 Associate Face to Face Referee Course, you must:

(Your registration will be rejected if the following is not met)

1. Be a current member of Volleyball WA.
2. Be at least 14 years old (or turn 14 in 2025).
3. Be an accredited Volleyball Australia Level 1 Referee.

4. Complete the Australia Sport Commission Community Officiating - Essential Skills Course and attain the Certificate of Completion.

   This course is accessed by clicking on the 'Volleyball Learning Centre' button on your 'Account' Tab of this Accreditation Portal.

5. Complete the following "Play By The Rules" and "Sport Integrity Australia" modules and attain the Certificate of Completion:       

   •        PBTR - Harassment and Discrimination
   •        SIA- Child Safeguarding in Sport Induction  
     • Only a requirement if 18 years of age and over

You will obtain the Volleyball Australia Level 2 "Associate" Referee Accreditation after attending the face-to-face course.
